I wanted to let you all know that I have a love for all people no matter their lifestyle. However, I will be voting YES on prop 8. I believe marriage is sacred and should be between a man and woman. Homosexual couples have all of the same benefits and privileges as a married couples.

Yes on 8. I really liked the animated commercial. I might cut and paste that.
Hey Heather, I liked the videos. My cousins, Kendahl and Shane have both been very vocal (at least on their blogs) about voting no on prop 8...I don't know a lot about the details of all this, I've learned a little, I'm learning more. It was really nice to see the videos and read your opinion. Unless I learn something new, I stand with you! Feel free to check out their blogs through mine, neither are private. Kendahl's especially has a lot of interesting stuff, particularly the comments.
Hope you're having a great time in CA. I miss being near my family and am looking forward to seeing them in December.
Hey Heather! I have read your blog a few times, and I wanted to comment this time :)
I appreciate your strength on this issue (and many other aspects of your life as well!)
I hope others will understand the consequences of voting No on 8, which include discrimination against practicing religions such as ours. I am shocked to learn of Mormons voting No on 8. As I am sure you are as well. But I bight my lip, because I hate contention. I am proud to say I will vote Yes on 8. But more than that, I am proud to be a member of a church where peace and love stand supreme. I have faith that the Lord will intervene in due time, whether it be tomorrow, or down the road.
I live in Texas now, and we (from what I can tell ;) are all praying and fasting for you guys.
Take Care!
Chrissy
